What are fillers made of?
Hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your skin. We lose it with age, and filler replaces that lost volume.
Will I look unnatural?
The aim is always a subtle, natural result built around your own facial structure. People should simply think you look fresher, without knowing what you have had done.
Does the procedure hurt?
It depends on the area, but most patients find it very comfortable. Dr Rosh uses a strong numbing cream, very fine needles and fillers with local anaesthetic built in.
How long do results last?
Usually between 6 and 18 months, depending on the area treated, your metabolism and your lifestyle.
When will I see results?
You will see an improvement straight away, with the final result settling over about 2 weeks.
What if I am not happy with my results?
Hyaluronic acid fillers are fully reversible, so adjustments can be made if needed, and filler can be dissolved.
What are the side effects?
Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising at the injection points is common and usually settles within a few days.
